Two Concessions for US Company
Springfield Oil of the US has signed a contract with the state-owned Entreprise Tunisienne d'Activites Petrolieres (ETAP) to explore two concessions in Tunisia, Cap Bon offshore, with an area of 1,920 sq. kms., and Makthar onshore, with an area of 4,632 sq. kms. Springfield will finance all exploration and act as operator, according to company officials. In the event of a discovery development costs will be shared 50-50 with ETAP.
