Arab Agricultural Ministers Pledge Aid for African Famine Relief
Arab Agricultural Ministers agreed during their last annual meeting in Mogadishu, Somalia in late December to earmark $250,000 for emergency famine and drought relief in African member states. The funds will be allocated from the 1985 Arab Agricultural Development Organization budget of $10.9mn.
