US Increases Aid to Sudan in 1985
Sudan will receive a total of $250mn in US aid during 1985, an increase of $30mn over 1984, according to the US ambassador to Sudan, Mr. Hume Horan, in a statement to the Sudan News Agency (SUNA) on 29 December. The increased aid will be earmarked for combating drought and desertification (MEES 11 June 1984).
