KPC Awards Japanese Firm Oil Storage Tanks Contract
The Japanese firm Ishikawajima Harima Heavy Industries has been awarded a $28mn contract by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) for the construction of 59 oil storage tanks at Mina al-Ahmadi. The tanks, with a total capacity of 7.4mn barrels, are scheduled for delivery in September 1986.
