West Germany Lends $13mn for Moroccan Coal Mine
West Germany has agreed to lend Morocco DM40mn ($12.7mn) for the expansion and modernization of the Jerada coal mine. The funds are part of the DM50mn ($15.9mn) pledged by West Germany to Morocco in 1985, the remaining DM10mn ($3.2mn) having been allocated to small farm projects.
