Agypetco to Invite Bids for Melehia-Hamra Pipeline
Agypetco, a subsidiary of Canada's Denison Mines, is planning to invite bids within the next few months for the construction of a $37mn, 175-km. pipeline linking its Melehia concession in Egypt's Western Desert to an export terminal at al-Hamra on the Mediterranean. Output from Melehia is expected to average 20,000 b/d, but the pipeline will have a throughput capacity of 35,000 b/d.
