IDA Lends Djibouti $5mn
The International Development Association (IDA), the World Bank affiliate for concessionary lending, will provide a credit of SDR5.1mn ($5mn) for a new primary education project in Djibouti, according to an announcement on 24 January. The project is to be carried out over a period of 4.5 years at a cost of $7.4mn. The Government of Djibouti is contributing $2.4mn towards the cost.
