Jordan Hopes to Revive Iraq-Jordan Pipeline Project
Jordan's Minister of Industry and Commerce, Dr. Jawad al-'Anani, told reporters in Bahrain on 20 February that talks have been revived concerning the construction of the $1bn Iraqi-Jordanian crude oil pipeline project. The Jordanian official said that "we have got new hopes recently from the American companies" concerning the security guarantees needed for the project.
