IFAD Lends Uganda $14.5mn
The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) has agreed to provide a soft loan worth $14.5mn to Uganda, according to an agreement signed on 27 February. The loan will assist a $31.4mn project to initiate research and agricultural services in the country which is being co financed by the International Development Association (IDA) and the Ugandan government.
