New Government in Kuwait
Following the election of a new National Assembly (parliament) in Kuwait on 21 February (see The Middle East Situation, MEES, 4 March) and the subsequent resignation of the government, a new cabinet headed by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Shaikh Sa'd al-'Abd Allah al-Sabah, was formed on 4 March. The 15-man cabinet includes eight new- comers and the remaining seven were members of the outgoing government.
