ADB Lends $257mn to Egypt, Mauritania and Sudan
The African Development Bank (ADB) has agreed to lend $257.27mn to Egypt,Mauritania and Sudan, according to agreements signed in late February. Egyptwill receive $120mn during the current fiscal year for agricultural, sewage andelectricity projects, and a soft loan worth $120mn during the next three yearsto finance electricity projects.
