AID FLOWS
US Provides $36mn in Grants and Aid to Sudan
The United States has agreed to grant Sudan an additional 83,000 tons of foodsupplies in 1985, according to a senior US official in Khartoum on 6 March. Theextra aid, worth $21mn, is on top of 748,000 tons of food the US has alreadycommitted to famine victims in the country.
