USAID Extends $515mn in Aid to Egypt
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) announced on 12 March a series of new assistance disbursements to Egypt under present aid levels. According to the new accords, the US will provide Egypt $200mn for commodity imports, $195mn for a Cairo sewerage project, $100mn in cash transfers, and $20mn for a production credit project.
