IDA and Japan Extend $7.5mn to North Yemen
The International Development Association (IDA) and Japan have agreed to extend $7.5mn in aid to North Yemen, according to two agreements signed earlier this month. The IDA will lend SDR4.7mn ($4.7mn) to provide technical assistance to the country's Central Planning Organization, while Japan will grant $2.5mn to help agricultural productivity.
