Iran Revives Project for Oil Pipeline Project to Bypass Hormuz
Iran is once again focusing on the idea of building an oil export pipeline which would bypass the Strait of Hormuz and provide an alternative outlet to the embattled Kharg Island terminal. The project was discussed by the Iranian cabinet on 10 April, and the official news agency IRNA quoted President Ali Khamenei as telling the cabinet meeting that plans for the pipeline project must be drawn up and implemented....
