IDB Aids Mauritania and Senegal
The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) has agreed to provide $11mn to Mauritania and Senegal, according to two agreements signed last week. Mauritania will receive a $10mn loan to purchase petroleum products from Kuwait, while Senegal will receive $1mn in technical assistance to carry out a pilot forestry project.
