FERTIL's 1984 Output
The Ruwais Fertilizer Industries (FERTIL) in 1984 produced 275,000 tons of ammonia and 343,000 tons of urea from its plant at the Ruwais industrial area of Abu Dhabi. The FERTIL plant, which has a design capacity to produce 1,000 tons/day of ammonia and 1,500 tons/day of urea, went on stream at the end of 1984.
