IFAD Lends Mauritania $3nn
The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) has agreed to lend Mauritania $3.4mn to part-finance a small-scale irrigation project in the country, according to an agreement signed on 17 April. The project is estimated to cost $11.2mn and will be co-financed by the World Bank soft-loan agency, the International Development Association, with a $7.6mn loan.
