Oman Gas Production Rises by 31% in 1984
Oman's natural gas production in 1984 amounted to 35.5bn cu. ft., a 31.5% increase over output of 27bn cu. ft. in 1983, according to official figures released in Muscat on 20 April. This increase is in line with the Omani Government's policy of substituting crude oil with natural gas for domestic consumption whenever possible.
