Mitsubishi Imports 1,400 tons of Saudi Polyethylene
Mitsubishi Petrochemical Company has announced that in early April it imported 1,400 tons of linear low-density polyethylene from the al-Jubail Petrochemical Company (Kemya), the 50/50 joint venture between the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) and Exxon of the US. Kemya operates a 260,000 ton/year polyethylene plant in Jubail which started test production at the end of last year (MEES, 5 November 1984)....
