IDB Lends $45mn to Jordan and Iraq
The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) will lend $45mn to Jordan and Iraq under agreements signed last week. The Jordanian Petroleum Refinery Company will receive $30mn to help finance imports of crude oil from Saudi Arabia, while $15mn will be provided to Iraq to finance the import of vegetable oil from Malaysia.
