Omani Bank Assets Grow 22%
The total assets of the 22 commercial banks in the Sultanate of Oman grew by 22% during 1984 to reach RO1,167bn ($3.4bn) at the end of the year according to the results published by the banks. Total deposits grew by 19% to reach RO816mn ($2.4bn) while total loans were RO614mn ($1.8bn), up 18% on the previous year.
