BADEA Lends Uganda $6mn
The Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) has agreed to lend Uganda $6mn for agricultural and industrial projects, according to an agreement signed on 21 May. The loan is repayable in 14 years, including a three- year grace period, and carries a 7% annual interest rate.
