US Offers Extra Aid to Egypt and Israel
The US administration has agreed to offer Israel an extra $1.5bn for FY 1985 and 1986 and Egypt an additional $500mn. The US has allocated $1.8bn in military aid to Israel for FY 1986 as well as $1.2bn for economic assistance. Egypt has been allocated $1.3bn in military assistance and $1.037bn in economic and food aid.
