EEC Gives $12mn for School Repairs in Lebanon
The European Economic Community (EEC) has agreed to contribute ECU 16mn ($11.6mn) in grants and soft loans to Lebanon for the repair of 350 schools, according to an agreement signed late last month. The project is part of a bigger aid program for Lebanon to be undertaken by the EEC-sponsored Council for Development and Reconstruction.
