Libya Reduces Production in June
Libya has cut down its production during the second half of June to 890,000 b/d, some 100,000 b/d less than the quota allotted it by OPEC, according to Mr. Fawzi al-Shakshuki, Acting Secretary for Petroleum. The Libyan official attributed the move as an "attempt to support prices in the sagging oil market."
