BADEA Lends $25mn to Three African States
The Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) has agreed to lend $25mn to the Central African Republic, Uganda and Zambia, according to an announcement on 15 July. Uganda will receive $6mn to support Ugandan Development Bank economic projects, the Central African Republic $4mn for airport maintenance, and Zambia $15mn for road construction.
