US Grants Sudan $7.5mn for Railway System
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has agreed to grant Sudan $7.5mn, according to an agreement signed on 22 July. The funds will be used to increase the Sudan Railway Corporation's capacity to transport relief supplies to drought-stricken areas through the purchase of 10 locomotives from the General Electric Company.
