Oil and Gas Output Rises 15.7% to 44.9mn Tons in 1984
Egypt's oil and gas output increased to 44,881,000 metric tons in 1984, according to statistics published in a recent issue of the EGPC monthly magazine al-Bitrul, an increase of 15.7% over 1983 output of 38,806,000 tons. 1984 output comprised 41,217,000 tons (824,340 b/d) of crude oil, up 14.6% from the 1983 figure of 35,957,000 tons (719,140 b/d), and 3,664,000 tons of gas and condensates, up 28.6% from the 1983 figure...
