OFID Approves $17mn in Loans and Grants
On 7 August the Governing Board of the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) approved the following loans and grants totaling $17.13mn:
- $14.2mn in loans for four projects: $3.2mn to Kenya for hospitals and rural health centers; $5.0mn to Mali's Training Institute for Textile Industries; $2.0mn to Mauritania for a livestock project; and $4.0mn to South Yemen for a highway project.
