US and Japan Grant $6.5mn to North Yemen
The US and Japan granted $6.5mn to North Yemen last week. The US, through Public Law 480, has agreed to supply wheat worth $2mn in response to the drought that has affected the country's wheat crop. Earlier this year the US also granted $10mn worth of rice supplies.
