Arab Sovereign Commercial Debt at $13bn in 1984
The latest figures from the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) in Basle indicate that the volume of commercial bank debt backed by the sovereign guarantee of the principal Arab states totaled $13bn at the end of 1984.
