Refining Capacity to Reach 650,000 b/d by End of 1986
The General Manager of the Major Projects Group (MPG) of the Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), Mr. Bader al-Baijan, stated to the press on 20 August that Kuwait will be able to refine 650,000 b/d - 65% of crude oil production following the completion of the modernization projects at the Mina al-Ahmadi and Mina Abdullah refineries at the end of 1986.
