Countertrade Deal with Sweden
According to reports from Stockholm, the Swedish state company Sukab has signed a countertrade agreement with Iran under which an unnamed Swedish company will purchase Iranian products worth $190mn in exchange for Swedish goods worth $150mn. Oil will form the major part of the Swedish imports, which will also include chemicals, food products and carpets.
