GE Signs Agreement To Build 2.25GW Power Plants

GE signed contracts totaling $300mn to supply six gas turbines and associated services to the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company for two new combined-cycle power plants near Cairo with a total generation capacity of 2.25gw, the US company announced on 21 September.
