IFAD Provides $50.3mn for Agricultural Projects
The Executive Board of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) agreed on 9 September to provide loans worth $48.8mn to seven developing countries: Indonesia, Guinea, Tanzania, Belize, Tunisia, Djibouti and Syria. The Board also agreed to provide a grant of $1.5mn for an agricultural management training program in Africa sponsored by the Organization of African Unity.
