Morocco Clinches IMF and Paris Club Deals
Following the signing on 16 September of a crucial agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Moroccan Government has been able to reschedule its 1984 and 1985 official debt service with the agreement of the Paris Club.
The IMF deal provides Morocco with SDR315mn ($318mn) from now until February 1987, comprising a SDR200mn standby facility to be drawn down over the next 18 months...
