Iran-Armenia Gas Pipeline Completed
Armenias Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsiyan told reporters in Yerevan on 24 March that the Armenian side of a 140km Iran-Armenia gas pipeline has been completed, enabling imports of Iranian gas. The new pipeline is intended to break Armenias dependence on a Soviet-era pipeline that is owned by Russias Gazprom and which crosses central Georgia. The $220mn project was launched in March...
