Jordan’s First Shale Oil Expected In September
Jordan Oil Shale Energy (JOSE), a Jordanian-Estonian joint venture, announced on 8 May that it expects to produce this September the first oil from the 'Attarat Umm Ghudran oil shale deposits in the kingdom’s central region. The joint venture would be the first project to come on stream among a number of developments planned to tap Jordan’s estimated 40bn tons of shale oil reserves....
