IMF Warns Of Increasing Challenges To Yemens Economy
Yemens macroeconomic stability and fiscal and external sustainability are exposed to high risk due to the current global recession and the decline in oil price, the IMF warns in its conclusion to the 2008 Article IV consultation with Yemen. The authorities have taken encouraging measures to tackle the decline in oil revenue, the IMF said, however a determined policy response is needed...
