Marib Pipeline To Resume Pumping After Nine-Month Closure
Repair work at Yemen’s key Marib-Ras Issa export pipeline is expected to be complete by 8 July, following which the pumping of crude will resume, Yemen’s Interior Ministry revealed on 2 July. Yemen launched a renewed campaign last month to work with the tribes in the volatile Marib region to repair the pipeline that has been closed since October 2011 (MEES, 4 June).
