TAQA Profits Rise 2.8% In Second Quarter
State-owned Abu Dhabi National Energy’s (TAQA’s) quarterly profit growth was almost flat as weak gas prices in North America hurt income, it reported on 14 July. The firm, which has power and upstream assets, made a net profit of $121.7mn in the second quarter compared to the same period in 2011 – a 2.8% rise. Total revenues dropped 14.5% in the quarter.
