MENA Exploration Update
- Sharjah-based Dana Gas has made a natural gas discovery in Egypt’s Nile Delta, the company said on 22 October, estimating the deposit at between 4 and 6bn cu ft. This latest discovery was made at the West Sama-1 well in the West El-Qantara concession, and represents the company’s second 2012 discovery after Egypt’s Komombo concession in the second quarter.
