Saudi Arabia Appoints New Interior Minister In Surprise Move
Saudi Arabia’s King ‘Abd Allah bin ‘Abd al-’Aziz has appointed 53-year-old Prince Muhammad bin Nayif as the country’s new interior minister. The move puts the grandson of the kingdom’s founder, King ‘Abd al-’Aziz bin Sa’ud in a key position. Previously top ministerial posts have helped position their holders in the Saudi line of succession.
