Apache Hit By Egyptian Permit Delays
US independent Apache's 2012 Egyptian production was flat despite an extensive drilling campaign as development approval delays made themselves felt. The company hopes its continued extensive exploration program and a couple of key projects in the works will modestly raise output over the coming two years. But the relative importance of Egypt for Apache continues to slide.
