GCC Single Market Failure: Problems And Solutions

In 2008, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) launched its own version of the European Union’s (EU) hugely successful single market. Goods, labor, and capital were all supposedly permitted to flow across the GCC’s internal borders unencumbered by fees or legal restrictions.
