No Sign Of KRG-Iraq Deal But Hopes High


Iraqi Oil Minister ‘Abd al-Karim al-Laibi says a deal between the KRG and Baghdad over the thorny issue of Kurdish oil exports could be just days away.


Even with a deal, the volume of oil to be exported from the Kurdish region is likely to be much lower than the 400,000 b/d that Baghdad has pencilled into its draft budget.
