Sadara began production of LLDPE at its Jubail complex, as the first milestone in bringing onstream specialty chemicals and polyolefins capacity over 18 months.

The Sadara joint venture of state petroleum firm Saudi Aramco and US chemicals company Dow started up on 7 December the first of 26 units, comprising its giant specialty chemicals and polyolefins complex at Jubail on Saudi Arabia’s Gulf coast.
