Jordan’s Ministry of Energy is storming ahead with wind projects as it seeks to reduce reliance on oil and gas imports. Last week the ministry inaugurated an 80MW wind farm at Ma’an, 220km south of Amman. This week it signed a power purchase agreement with Korea’s Daelim and Kosco for a 49.5MW project.
