Russian state firm Tatneft on 10 October signed an MoU with Iranian counterpart NIOC for further development of Dehloran oilfield.

Dehloran is a mature field on the border with Iraq, an area that Iran has prioritized for foreign involvement. Discovered in 1972, the field entered production in 1978.
